Why Choose OneTigris Tactical Dog Pack?

A highly practical dog vest with pouches for doggy EDC and a clear window at the front for storing ID and other important info in case of an emergency. Fill up the two side pouches with essentials for the day and slap on some morale patches. Please note: When loading up pouches for a dog harness or pack, for most dogs, 10% to 12% of their body weight is a good starting point for loading up dog packs. This would be 5-6lb for a 50lb dog, or 2.5-3kf for a 25kg dog. Of course, the right amount depends on a number of factors, such as your dog's breed, physical fitness, and energy level.

1. Spacey zippered side pouches for carrying doggy EDC, phones, keys, etc.

2. Comes with loop panels on two sides for morale patches and name patches

3. 2 adjustable belly straps with quick release buckles for a secure fit and easy removal

4. Metal leash attachment ring at the front

5. Drainage hole at bottom of either pouch in case of spills

Careful and consistent care of your OneTigris products will ensure its optimal conditions and longer lifetime. Here are some basic cleaning tips for backpacks, pouches, gear and dog vests

DIRT REMOVAL - After usage, remove any visible dirt with a soft brush.
ZIPPER CARE - Use mild soap, water and a soft brush to clean zippers.
STAINS - Use mild detergents, water, and a soft brush or sponge to wipe/scrub off stains.
SOAP RESIDUE - Use a wet towel with clean water to wipe away any soap residue.
DRYING - Hang item outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
REGULAR CLEANING of snap fasteners and D-rings is also very important. After each usage, take a dry cloth to wipe clean metal surfaces; should signs of material oxidation occur, use a small amount of toothpaste to gently cleanse the surface.
VELCRO LINT - Once a month, use a line roller, duct tape, lint brush, toothbrush, or a tape dispenser's cutter to tape/scrape the fastener clean. Doing this will keep debris from getting excessively embedded, which is more difficult to remove than surface lint. Before placing your gear in the laundry machine, fasten the hook-and-loop fastener together. Spray the hook-and-loop fastener with anti-static spray after washing.

LOVE THIS!!!! Absolutely love this pack !
I purchased this for my service dog since I did not want a traditional service dog vest and I needed something to carry my personal items so I did not have to use a purse.
If I could change one thing, it would be the placement of the buckles on the belly. I would have them position more to the side of the dog versus directly underneath, For ease of buckling and for comfort of the dog. I use my seatbelt cover for her belly protection and that seems to work very well.
I wanted to find a backpack for my dog to wear on walks to help tire him out. Most of the ones I saw were brightly colored, but I was looking for a more rugged, classic look. This backpack fit the bill and was a fair price.

I thought I'd have to ease my dog into wearing it, but he took to it immediately. He's a 90 lb Bernese Mountain dog and after an initial adjustment, it fits great and I haven't had to readjust it. I haven't had any problems with it slipping around while he walks.

I usually fill it with whatever supplies we might need during our walk (food, water, toys, waste bags) and then add a frozen water bottle or two for extra weight and cooling. It's holding up great after a few months!
Product Qualities
This is a very sturdy, well-made product. The canvas has some heft to it and is a nice heavy weight. No issues with the stitching. I like the oversize zipper pulls as well. It should serve well in winter with gloves on etc. Although we just got ours the other day, we've already put in about 10 miles with it in different types of terrain. We followed some washed out creek beds, went up and down steep embankments, through thick brush, hardwood stands, and open easy going trails. The pack excelled in all areas. The pack does not shift at all. It stays right where it should centered on his back. I will say this though, i had equal weight on both sides (canned goods).
So far so good. Took on a 6 hour hike up the La Luz Trail and had no issues. My German Shepherd carried 2 bottles of water on each side as well as a fold up bowl and 2 snack size zip-lock bags of dog food with some treats. We did not attach the leash to this pack instead connected it to his collar like normal as to avoid any ripping that others have mentioned. The straps that go underneath your dog were very long so we cut about a foot off of them and then used a lighter to burn the ends, this worked like a charm. My dog is 77lbs and this had no issue fitting him. The only issue i noticed that wasn't really an issue is that when one side of his water supply was heavier than the other the bag sagged a little to one side, this did not seem to bother him at all. He carried this without any issue and seemed to like it in a weird way. At no point did he try to "get it off" of his back... Bought two of these and they fit both my German Shepherds. My female who was nursing a cracked nail could not go with us per vets instructions but it fit her 90lb frame no problem with some access strap length under her. If anything changes on our next hikes will Definitely update!

I bought this for my ~90lb German Shepherd mix for hiking, long trail walks, trips to the Farmer's Market, etc. Basically for him to carry his own poop bags and my keys/wallet and some water. The pockets are definitely a good generous size and easily fit a few water bottles. The straps on it (for a breed of his shape - deep chest, narrow waist, fluffy neck) are pretty generous and would easily fit a larger dog. I'm still having some tweaking issues trying to find the right balance of making sure it's tight enough that the pack doesn't shift, and loose enough that I don't feel like the unpadded straps are too tight to be comfortable. I did see some reviews who mentioned needing to pin the leftover strap up - I'm not sure if they've changed the design since but my pack came with elastic loops on the straps to tuck the excess into, sort of like a watch strap. Because of my dog's narrow waist, I have quiet a bit of excess on the back-most strap, but I was able to just double that excess strap back to keep it up and out of the way.
The material itself feels nice and heavy like a canvas backpack. I didn't have any trouble with the zippers or the stitching, but no way would I recommend using this as a harness (I coupled this with my dog's regular collar). I feel like they're more for clipping tags/keychain-type things to. I did feel confident in using the handle to hold or pull my dog (if say he needed a boost up or we were in a crowd).
I only took off a star because I feel like the neck strap is a little weird. I've seen packs that use a three way strap to connect the neck to the chest strap and that just looks like it would be more comfortable for the dog. The way this one sits, it make it difficult to get the strap adjustments just right. I ended up taking him for a quick walk so I could tweak it after he'd moved in it a bit based on where it looked like it was pulling. Otherwise, it's a great looking, solid pack and I would definitely recommend it.

I was concerned about the size and whether or not it would fit my 77# dog. Well, it fits great. It is well made and I do not foresee any problems with holding her food, water and other essentials. The pack has inside zip pockets, like a ladies purse! Large zip and Velcro pockets as well. We are looking forward to using it soon. Add Rhodesian Ridgeback to the list of breeds this pack accommodates. The straps have lots of room for expansion for these chow hounds too.

This is a GREAT backpack. My German Shepherd/Malinois mix can haul her own water and supplies on hikes. It does not shift, and is comfortable for her to wear.

This is a classy pack, nicest looking I've seen. I get tons of compliments on it. Will add some reflective tape so he doesn't blend in so well in the woods during hunting season lol.

Update: for 3 months I have been using this 5 days a week for up to 8 mile hikes, as well as several backpacking trips. Very well made,

It is a bit loose for my 65 lb pit mix so I 'criss-crossed' the straps underneath him and it fits perfect.. My only concern was no padding on straps under arms, but wearing it this way that hasn't been a problem. I did trim and superglue the ends of the straps for safety reasons. The bag doesn't spin or sag when weighted properly. He gets it wet daily and it dries quickly on the porch railing. It does keep him from rolling in creeks which I appreciate lol.

I keep supplies and small items in ziplock bags in the interior pockets, and the large pockets are big enough for two 24oz gatorade bottles with sipper tops in each. I put one on each side (see pic) and there is still plenty of room for more supplies and I can keep the weight at 10-15%. The outer velcro pockets are a pleasant bonus, easy to get into and expand to hold a lot too. He loves it, when I pick this up he runs right over!

This is a backpack, definitely not built to be a harness. I have never attached his leash to the pack. Not as heavy duty as other brands, but breatheable fabric and has taken a beating the last 3 months...would buy it again.
My dog is an Airedale Terrier and is quite deep in the chest with a slim waist and a slender neck so i had some concerns as to whether or not it would fit correctly. The adjustment is maxed out on his waist and nearly maxed out on his chest. neck is fine. I wanted to add some photos with measurements for reference to help others that may be considering this pack. I know there are photos of a dog in the product page, but they don't tell you anything about the dog. My dog stands 24" at the shoulder and his chest is 29" in diameter measured across the shoulder blades and just behind his armpits. He weighs 56 lbs. He's only 2 and probably has some filling out to do, so the extra length on the straps is a good thing.

I have a small 48 pound female yellow lab who LOVES her backpack! The straps are adjusted as small as I can get them and I have to "tie" up the hanging extra strap. I have worked my dog in 4 weeks up to 2.5 pounds in each pack.(started with a pound water bottle in each pack). My goal is to have 3 pounds in each pack. My purpose for the backpack was as a behavioral modification tool. She seems calmer when wearing this and doesn't pull at all. She wears it daily on a 1.75 mile walk each morning. Too hot to wear in the evenings here still. I thought she would hate this pack but from the get go she stood still and let me "saddle" her up. This is very durable so far and has not shown any signs of wear or tearing. I am including a picture of her in her packs. She even almost looks like she is smiling wearing them!

Fits my medium sized lab (55 lbs) very well. Lots of pockets for her gear. Balanced very well - stays in place and inline.

I struggled for a while between choosing this backpack or a more expensive one from Ruffwear, mostly because I was afraid of how good it could possibly be for only $30, but I loved this look so much more I figured it was worth giving it a shot and WOW. Not only does it fit my rottweiler beautifully and comfortably, without chaffing his armpits or impeding shoulder movement, but it is far more durable than any other dog outdoor gear I've seen (and I work in a specialty dog store, so that's *a lot* of gear). Murphy traipsed up and down the mountain, through streams and bushes and it stayed put, I look forward to years of heavy use :)

So, for those considering this backpack and perhaps worried that it's going to be cheaply-made: the price is not a reflection of quality, this backpack is perfect.
Our dog looks so proud when we put this on her back. I think she feels like she has a purpose now, aside from providing unconditional love. It looks and feels like it is very high quality, but is much cheaper (cost wise) than some of the other packs out there. We have yet to actually do a field test with it, but we've been filling the pockets with random objects to see how it holds up with her just walking around - and so far, so good. Also, the leash that came with it is very strong and feels a lot nicer than our old, standard leash. So overall, I would recommend this product.
Love this style! Was looking for something for my German shepherd mix that was a little less sporty and more natural, and this one is similar to a camera bag I take regularly hiking, so now we match! She has always responded very well to the backpack. Off leash she will stay by my side when she has the pack on, whereas with just a halter and off leash she is bounding through the forest and scaring black bears out of trees. My old room mate lent me one that he never used that was bright neon colors some years ago and the change in her behavior while having the job of carrying our water and supplies puts her in the perfect attentive manner I like her to be in on the more wild trails. Love love it!

My husband and I love this dog backpack for our 10 month old boxer. We've gotten numerous compliments from people when we take him for walks around the neighborhood. He now holds his doggy bags, our cell phones, keys, and sometimes water with a collapsible water bowl if we're walking him for a long time. It's still a little big for him at 65 pounds, but he is growing into it. We purchased this to weigh him down on walks and wear him out faster, as well as wanting to take him on camping trips during the summer. This way our dog can carry his own items on the hike. We considered other backpacks with different material and a more sporty look, but we are so glad we purchased this one. We love how high quality it looks and feels. Highly recommend!
My dog has always been a puller. First I tried a harness, which was a massive failure that made it easier for him to yank my arm around. Then I bought a gentle leader. That is actually an amazing product that works, but he still had some bad moments where something would distract him. After putting this pack on him and "giving him a job" its like there is an invisible wall right next to me and he doesnt ever walk past me and doesn't even try to pull or mark bushes anymore.
I bought this dog pack for my mixed breed Alaskan Malamute Labrador. He's a big dog, about 110 pounds. He's very active and needs a lot of exercise. Using this pack helps give him a little more of a workout. I put a couple of frozen water bottles in each side to add a little weight and to help cool him down on warmer days. It's nice that he can carry his own stuff!

One of the things I love about this pack is that it sits high up on his shoulders instead of the middle of his back where other packs sit.

I wasn't sure this would fit my large breed dog, but it fits him well and I think it could even fit a slightly larger dog.

The pack seems well constructed and has a nice rugged look.
My dog didn't exhibit any signs of discomfort, no tugging or pulling etc. He didn't even look back at it after the first 50 feet or so. In fact, he seemed more focused while wearing it and definitely became more of a follower. He is trained to walk on my left side and not to walk ahead of me but from time to time has a tenancy to become distracted and drift about a foot further than he should. He didn't need to be reminded one single time while wearing the pack. The affect of "having a job" produced a quite remarkable improvement in his focus.
Use this pack on my Husky/German Shepherd for day and snow hikes. Here's the quick breakdown:

-Lots of space in the pack
-Pretty snug fit
-Simple to use
-Gets the job done

This backpack is a lifesaver if you take your dog hiking/camping.
Since this backpack, he gets tired when I get tired. Because I am making him carry his own things. Guess your endurance wasn't as good as you thought it wad huh Dog.
