My sister and I ordered the underquilt for upcoming off-roading/camping trips in Shenandoah and North Carolina. We setup a test run in our driveway and must say we’re quite impressed. It was about 40 degrees. We both have ENO double nest hammocks to use with our quilts. Fit was perfect. I love that this underquilt is full length as I’m 5’9”. Most quilts I found were 3/4 length. We laid in them for a couple of hours and we’re perfectly warm. Can’t wait to try them out next weekend. I also like that it’s quilted ensuring the filling will stay put. Gave 4 stars only because I can’t give a full review until I’ve slept in it overnight.

Long story short I had this and my sleeping bag, all my friend had was a sleeping bag. We ended the trip early because he was too cold to stay out another night, I was perfectly comfortable!

The One tigris 3 season under quilt I found to be an excellent purchase. My hammock is a Hennessy Deep Jungle Zip XL this under quilt fit nicely with the included shock cord and carbines. Canada has a varied climate between the spring, summer and fall. I have used down to 0 C however I do sleep hot so this will not be for everyone. With a reflective Mylar emergency blanket I have slept down to -5 C very comfortably . I am very impressed with the price as well packs small and fit easily in my 50 liter pack. This piece of wonderful gear has found a permanent place in my kit.

Once I got it calibrated, I found out that it is incredibly warm. With my old underquilt I was using my warmest sleeping bag and a blanket, now I only am using my onetigris and a poncho liner!

Good product, especially for the price point. Used it in high 40's and it kept me warm with just a blanket, sweat pants, and a tshirt. I would be comfortable using this in the high 30's with a little more clothing if needed.
The underquilt is supposed to sag slightly below your hammock creating a "pocket of warm air", which is created with your body heat. I actually through two hot hands in between the hammock and underquilt and didn't get a bit cold. I am very happy I purchased this product.

purchased the Onetigris for hammock camping in fall/winter. With my Kelti sleeping bag I slept all night great, with a low of 21. My goal was to achieve polar bear status, which I did, i liked it enough to purchase another one for my boyfriend.

I purchased the 3 season version and after many trips 20+ I am most satisfied with it and to answer a lot of questions, it’s about the size of an American football compressed, I slept comfortably down to 40 f before getting cold butt, it is water resistant to rain, easily attaches with 2 biners, and it weighs about as much as a sweatshirt in your bag. I would recommend this product and the price can’t be beat.
I will be purchasing a winter underquilt in the near future by one Tigris and wish they made a matching top quilt. I’ve purchased a lot of one Tigris stuff and all of it is good quality.

Construction is very good. The sellers description is spot on accurate.

The fitted shape helps keep it tight to the underside of the hammock, but also makes it tough to lay flat/ diagonal.

On one trip, I had a low temp of 50 and stayed warm using a Costco Black Diamond brand down throw for an overquilt. On another windier trip, I used two of the Costco quilts and was warm all night as the temp dropped to 43 degrees. The temperature rating seems accurate, and you should be able to go colder with warmer top layers. The outer fabric is study and appears to be fairly wind resistant.

The fitted shape decreases the usable area of my double size camping hammock, but consequently keeps it tight preventing cold spots. (Sizewise - I'm 6ft tall and 220lbs.)

Update: Just finished a 4 day trip down the coast with chilly 30 mph winds and stayed toasty warm every night. Hooking to the hammock was quick and simple.

I've only written a couple of gear reviews before but I thought this deserved the effort. I recently went hiking with my son at Elk City Lake, KS. The low was around 37* that night. I purposely slept with no sleeping bag to test the UQ (I had one with me in case, though). I had a top quilt but only the hammock and this under quilt under me. At around 3 in the morning it was at the lowest temperature and I could only feel the slightest bit of chill on my back. I was not uncomfortable at all. I thought that was excellent for a 3 season under quilt! The compression sack it comes with makes it very manageable in a pack. Excellent value for what you get! I will buy their winter UQ as well! 5 Stars!

I use my hammock every night indoors. We keep our house on the cool side, so cold butt syndrome (CBS) has been a real issue. This underquilt totally solves the problem. I use a single hammock because of space concerns and the underquilt is is perfect match. Not sure whether or not it will fit a double hammock as well. Recommended!

bought this for use with a Warbonnet Black Bird XLC hammock on a week and a half long trip through the Canadian backcountry. It was nice and light to carry, packs down decently small, and when combined with a quality sleeping bag kept me warm all the way down into the 40s. I didn't even need to put on my warm layers! I was skeptical of how inexpensive it was since most other underquilts cost much more but I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Works great. Cheaper than other underquilts on the market, and has a noticeable effect. Used in 30°F weather and performed as I hoped.

I bought the hammock with bug net and the tarp so I had the confidence that this was going to be a good bit of kit also and I was right. Very easy to set up and it does its job. Glad I bought it. Here is a link to my review of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8JWRDS8v8g&t=8s

I can't recommend it highly enough; although I was rigged up on a sunny day it was blowing a gale with the top edges of the hammock vibrating madly in the wind and quite a chill against my back - the OneTigris under-quilt was quickly popped out of the stuff sack and clipped on with the supplied mini carabiners; this provided an immediately noticeable improvement in wind blocking and insulation properties. The elastic shock cords kept it snug and in the right position. The under-quilt is very light and comes in a well constructed stuff-sack. It certainly gets the thumbs up from me for warmth, weight, and cost.

Never used or sat in a hammock once ever and want to give it a try. I set up my hammock and tarp in the backyard (because I'm never going to try something for the first time down the trail) on a 60 degree evening with slight winds. I got in and found a nice angle to lay at and had my woobie rolled up as a pillow. I was very comfortable and got a good feeling that I was going to like hammock camping. It only took seconds to start feeling colder at my butt. Yes, CBS, cold butt syndrome is for real! But that's why I bought the OneTrigris Underquilt, to insulate my bottom side..

I know that some people asked the question so I'll say that the underquilt I received did have shock cords tied onto each end. Some reviewers have said that shock cords are needed to keep the ends from ripping out so I was glad to see them. The length of the underquilt and its cords was just a little too short to mount on the same carabiners as my 10 foot long hammock so I added about 6 inches of paracord at one end to get just the right sag. No problem with that and it looks easy to change out the shock cords for whatever length I need. I'll wait for a few hikes until thing have settled in before I do that.

So, sleeping in 60 degrees in light winds with a hammock, OneTirgris Underquilt, a woobie and an inflatable pillow. I also used an 8x10 tarp with Mylar on one side hung in an A-frame configuration with the sides tied low. I was warm and comfortable and got a great night's sleep. That's exactly what I wanted from my sleep system .... Recommended!

Works great. Had it down to 28 degrees fahrenheit and stayed warm with only a jungle blanket. I would give it 5* but this is only good for straight lay. I had issues getting a flat diagonal lay without letting warmth out of the sides.

I looked up many reviews for underquilts. I'm not a fan of spending gratuitous amounts of money on quality that I can find in lower priced brands. There are many reviews out there for the earlier generation of the underquilt, but I decided to give this one a try when I saw that some of the features had been changed.

Like most people review about OneTigris, this company makes both quality and durable products. I no longer have to weasel my way into my sleeping bag; instead, I can sleep with my sleeping bag laid over me and still stay incredibly warm throughout the night and into the morning. I also enjoy that this UQ, unlike many of the others I read up on, covers the entire hammock. I'm 6' 4", so finding something that envelopes my entire underside was very important.

The water resistant fabric is another great feature. I have a Bearbutt rainfly that has not failed me yet when it comes to downpours; however, if I am caught in a windstorm, I can be rest assured that I still not get wet even if the underquilt gets pelted a little.

I would definitely recommend this product, even to the most avid hikers/conoers/campers. It may be a bit heavier than other UQ's, but I pack light anyway so this is not a problem for me. It is still amazingly light and compacts down to the size of my down-sleeping bag. Again, not a fan of reaching deep into my pockets to buy equipment from a top brand company when I can purchase something at a fraction of the cost and of the same, if not better, quality overall.

have not used it yet, but pulled it out for storage and the quality seems to be great. Will get my first use of this next weekend in WV in the mountains. Excited to use this

Update: just finished a three day hike where the weather dipped into the low 30’s at night. This underquilt kept my from feeling any chill under my hammock. This quilt is great!

Very well made and warm. It's equal to or better than the much more expensive ENO Blaze Underquilt (which we also have). We have used it under our Grand Trunk Skeeter Beater 2-3 times and it solves the cold butt issue. Lowest temps we have experienced so far is mid 50s and felt fine with no sleeping bag and used a medium weight polyester blanket. We will most likely be upgrading to sleeping bags for fall/winter/spring.

This under quilt is perfect for warmer nights I used it in 30° And I was cold but that afternoon it worked perfect before the temperature dropped ! Some said it is for kids but I'm 5'11" and 315 lbs and my solders fit good. I would still recommend going with a down quilt if you can afford it
