This T’Farge® Comfort Airsoft Mask has been tested in multiple airsoft games within the United Kingdom. Games took place in a Woodland environment with typical English weather (c.12°, damp/wet, c.70% humidity). My usual mask is similar to the 1TG SCREAM Airsoft Mask and as such all opinions are in comparison with the scream style mesh mask. Full seal eye-pro is not a requirement in the UK so I use the popular ESS Crossbows.

Part Ratings
Cheeks ★★★★★ Cut well and adequately padded; very comfortable on the face.
Mouth / Nose ★★☆☆☆ Form fitting and durable
Stitching ★★★★★ No loose threads, stitching is precise and holds up under strain.
Straps ★★★★★ Easily adjustable, no slippage throughout testing.
Accessories ★★★☆☆ Helmet straps not compatible with all style of helmets; nice but unnecessary.

Overall Ratings
Quality ★★★★★ Well presented with high quality materials and stitching.
Appearance ★★★★☆ Looks great but is a little on the large side for personal preference.
Function ★★★☆☆ Secure straps, form-fitting and durable, but lack of airflow increases fogging issues.
Price ★★★★☆ RRP is $4 above comparable mask

Overall ★★★★☆
A well-fitting mask which provides maximum coverage to the wearer. The durable straps / fittings keep the mask secure to the face with no slippage throughout the day and the fabric cheeks allow for a full cheek weld to the stock of the rifle. Unfortunately, a build-up of condensation within the plastic guard caused constant fogging within the wearers eye protection. My overall rating has been given as 4/5 since I feel as though the issues I faced may only be replicated in a small number of wearers.

Suggestions
Consider if the additional helmet strap is necessary.
Reduce price by $2 to make the item more competitive to the comparable Scream style mask.
Increase airflow to the plastic piece.

Delivery and first impression:
The mask arrives in OneTigris branded packaging alongside an additional set of straps for use with a FAST Helmet; the straps were easy to swap but the connectors are not compatible with my Team Wendy style helmet so have not been tested on the field. The mask is tagged with high quality info cards which contain information about OneTigris and Division Six which clearly identifies this as a co-design product.

The immediate feel of the product is great; cheek padding isn’t very thick but is sufficient for protection and a tug on the cheek fabric shows that the padding is very well stitched onto the plastic protection. The plastic has been well moulded and is both flexible and durable which allows the mask to survive being at the bottom of your gear bag. The straps are easy to adjust and the mask was able to fit under ESS Crossbow and Guard Dog 2 eye protection. First impressions made me very excited to receive and test this product.

Game Day - Sunday 4th Oct
Weather - c.12°, wet, c.70% humidity
Eyepro – ESS Crossbow with Vice RX inserts for prescription lenses. Fog-stop applied to all lenses.

I encountered eye-pro fogging within the first 10 minutes but cleared my eye-pro and loosened the mask slightly; continuing with this mask until lunchtime. The mask was comfortable but continued fogging during use. I switched to a mesh mask at lunchtime and continued the game as normal without issues. No suitable photos were taken on this day due to weather.

Game Day - Sunday 25th Oct
Weather - c.12°, damp, c.70% humidity
Eyepro – ESS Crossbow with Vice RX inserts for prescription lenses. Fog-stop applied to all lenses.

I started the day with a mesh mask since it was raining and played until lunchtime without any issues. I then switched to the T’Farge Comfort Mask since the rain stopped, but unfortunately it didn’t take long for fogging to start. I got some photos of the mask, checked the cheek weld and then continued with the game until the end of the day. The mask provided great protection against face shots and the straps held their position throughout. I’m unsure if the fogging is due to my double layer of lenses but it’s the only downside I experienced, but it’s a significant one which distracted from my day and had an impact on the enjoyment.

I will likely disinfect the mask and offer for a friend to test it at a few games; then can update this review at a later date and follow up with their experience.

Review of Item: T’Farge® Comfort Airsoft Mask

Review Type: Field/game use and home stress test

COLOR: OD Green. Color was exactly what was expected. No blemished or discoloration.

STITCHING: Sewing was tight, no loose threads, sewn over areas needed and no missed stitch areas. Could not pull apart.

SIZE: 1 size fits most. It felt slightly bigger, but still fit well with goggles and helmet.

FIT: Moldable to face, wrap with comfort and selectable size.

WEIGHT: Stated 3.8 OZ and weighed in at 3.6 OZ. Very close

IMPACT: Multiple close range and distant shots to plastic, straps and Buckles. Single and automatic fire with 0.25gram BB’s. We also placed in the freezer for an hour to simulate cold weather from my area. All tests survived with no issues.

STRAPS: Withstood 5 & 10 LBS steady weight and shocks.

BUCKLES: Initial finding was buckles were on backwards from Mfg. buckles held 5&10 LB weights. Re-routed straps/buckles to ease use of tightening and loosening.

FLEXIBILITY/CONFORMING: Fit comfortably around face. Nose was snug, but loosened the straps.

Overall: Great product. I feel it could be a little smaller to fit someones face and not push on the nose and allow space for goggles.

I recieved the T'Farge airsoft mask within a few days of being notified of it shipping. I put the mask to use right away with my boys as help. I am a larger guy with a pretty big noggin. Mask fit me no problem, and with the use of slide adjusters, 2 on each side, it was easily adjusted to fit my 5 and 6 year olds with almost no problems except on my youngest. My mask was multicam, and the quality is that of perfection. No loose threads or fading or bleeding of colors. It also came with helmet attachments if you prefer that route. Also with slide adjusters. I've heard others mention issues with googles fogging up, but I had no issues with my goggles fogging up. I noticed the first time I put it on, it didn't want to actually go on the correct way so I adjusted the mask a bit and I knew it was on right by the fit. Below are product specifications.

Specifications

Material: 1000D Nylon (Black/Tan/OD Green), 500D Cordura® Nylon (MultiCam/MultiCam Black), Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)
Dimensions: 9.8”*6.2”/25*16cm
Weight: 3.2oz/90g
Color: MultiCam®, MultiCam® Black, OD Green, Black, Tan

I would give this a 5/5. I had no issues whatsoever as to date.
