I purchased this pouch for a Goruck GR2 Pack, a backpack which I believe is essentially flawless aside from the fact that it lacks an external pouch to store a water bottle. I looked at several other similar products on amazon (the Rothco and two others). The reviews on these other products suggested that the quality was not the best (ex: weak zippers, cheap finish, difficulty attaching the molle straps). Also, they all seemed to have too many extra straps, pouches and zippers. I just wanted something that would be simple, effective, and good quality. I decided on this pouch due to it’s simple design and after reading the first review..

The quality of the material is pretty solid–not as thick as the GoRuck’s obviously, but definitely well worth the cost. It attached to the molle on the Goruck’s sides with ease–which I was glad to see after reading reviews on other pouches. The double molle setup on the pouch is such that no matter what the molle style had been on my pack, it would have almost certainly been able to attach. I have a 0.7L Thermos Tritan water bottle (2.8″ diameter), which fits perfectly in the pouch, but it could have fit a slightly larger bottle. The colour of the material and style match exactly with the Goruck. Finally, when empty, the pouch hardly increases the width of the pack at all, so it would still pass through as carry on luggage on a plane.

All in all, this pouch was exactly what I was looking for.

I attached the bottle holder onto the side of my deployment bag with the MOLLE straps and it fits perfectly. My 24oz. Bubba Keg coffee mug (I only have one cup a day and that is it… but it’s a big one) slides in and out easily without any wiggle. The draw string adds to the security by keeping it from falling out in the event that it gets knocked over. I may have to add another bottle holder for a water bottle, perhaps the minimalist version with the bungee cord at the top. (Man does not live on coffee alone, but he can try…)

Anyhow, I love it, you may too.

I recently purchased a Stanley Classic One Hand Vacuum Mug, Hammertone Navy, 20-Ounce (thermos) and was looking for a way to carry it when hiking / walking. The thermos is a little larger in diameter, so even on my bicycle I had to purchase a special bottle cage to carry it; so I knew I’d have to find a larger diameter carrier than that used for standard sized bottles.

When I found the One Tigris Mesh Bottom MOLLE Water Bottle Pouch, it’s measurements made it appear that it would suit my desired needs.

What a surprise I got when it arrived!!!. First, it came in early. Then, I was pleased to see that the construction was much more superb than I had assumed. The ‘walls’ are almost like a canvas material… very sturdy. The straps for attaching it to a back pack, belt, etc are just the right stiffness. They are not just mere webbing, which will allow sagging. They are made up of webbing sandwiching some kind of stiffening material; yet they remain flexible enough to put through the optional loops which will allow you to adjust accordingly to the width of what you are attaching it too… be it narrow or wide belts.

I thought that it would only suffice to carry my Stanley thermos. But I was so pleased to find out that not only does it fit, but when I cinch the cord at the top, this Bottle Holder looks like it was custom made for the thermos. When cinched, there is no play… ie the thermos is not loose. And the added bonus is that the drink button and top stick out, so that if I want, I could drink out of the thermos without having to pull it out of the Pouch.

Another minor bonus is that one of the tags that comes with the pouch (pictured in the photo) is business card size; but is thicker than normal. It will not be discarded into the garbage, but will become a book mark in one of my camping books. Also, the string that is attached to the card is almost like a thin shoe lace which is attached together with a little ‘toggle’. I intend to open it, and then use it as a small lanyard to attach something else… say like a military P38 can opener.

I am so pleased with this product that I took a second, more thorough look at the other products offered by OneTigris.

I will be using this product for hiking, walking, bicycling, and canoeing.

I recommend this to everyone… regardless of the type of bottle you use.

Great product, definitely worth the purchase. I have a bag with MOLLE straps that unfortunately does not have any water bottle holders. I bought two of these to make my backpack more versatile. The MOLLE straps on these water bottle holders fit snug and secure onto my bag. It is also big enough to fit the majority of water bottles that I have. Will definitely purchase OneTigris products again in the future.

If you are wondering if this will fit your 40oz. Hydroflask, it does but the top cap is exposed or if you have the wide mouth snap lid. The lid part is exposed but this Mesh Molle Water Bottle Pouch will fit snugly over the entire body of your Hydroflask 40oz up until the base of the metal ring. This will be going on my 5.11 24H Rush Tactical backpack.

Wanted to be able to have my water bottle on the outside, and easy to get at. My 1L Nalgene fits quite snugly into it, and just a bit of room at the top for the drawstring to secure it better (albeit it’s snug/tight enough in there as it is). Wish the Molle Straps were a touch longer, but still quite secure on the side of my bag.

Great at first, but the stitching fell apart where the drawstring material connects to the canvas part on the second day of backpacking. I am very disappointed. I wish I could exchange for a new one but I do think have my proof of purchase even though I bought it from here.

To add to my review previous. Customer service handled my case well and the faulty stitched water bottle holder was replaced. This one looks pretty solid, i’ll testing again on my next week long backpacking trip. Thanks
