Does your wife make you walk a dog that is the size of a glorified hamster? Does your dog constantly get picked on and beat up at the dog park? Or is your dog a 150 pound wolf you rescued as a pup from the wild after fighting off hordes of lawless poachers? Whatever dog you own, look no further for an absolute necessity to your K9’s load-out!
What you are looking at here is an excellent deal on a Tactical dog vest to make your K9 partner just as awesome as you are for searching out tactical gear. Whether your K9 partner is a professional bomb sniffing dog or you just want your dog to be “da bomb” at the local dog park, then this vest is for you! Not only do you have a wide selection of colors to blend with environment and coat patterns, you have a plethora of sizing options to fit the smallest or breeds up to the largest of wolf-hybrids out there! Make sure to measure your dog well though, as I bought a size medium for my 38 pound lion-taming wolf thinking it would be a bit large, and it ended up fitting perfect. Buyer beware though, this vest has the ability to turn even the daintiest of teacup poodles into combat ready, pitbull-killing, wolfpack of one because the world cannot handle two, best K9 partner you ever had! If you think you can handle that, then read on. Otherwise, turn back now and resume searching out Martha Stewart dog costumes.
Now lets talk about construction. Is it made in America? Sadly no. Was it forged in Middle Earth deep in the fires of Mount Doom? Maybe… That is just how tough this puppy is (no pun intended). The chassis starts on a heavy duty nylon with a breathable mesh sewn underneath to keep your K9 cool when combat gets heated. Next you have PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) sewn down the entire length of both sides. This gives you the ability to load down your beast with all sorts of necessities such as water pouches, spare magazines for your primary and secondary weapons, kibble for those overnight missions, hand grenades, med-kits, short wave radio, K9 cam to give HQ a visual of your AO, and so much more! Heck, you could probably attach a turret mounted UZI and have your trained squirrel ride your beast into battle! Next, on the middle of the vest are two heavy duty nylon grab handles, both forward and aft, for a handler to easily maneuver even the biggest of K9 breeds. Sewn in next to each of those grab handles are two hooks for leashing your beast in order to prevent any collateral damage when civilians are present. To finish off this awesome harness you have a wide heavy duty Velcro strip running the entire length of the vest to attach whatever patch furniture your little heart desires.
If you’re still not convinced, think of it this way: If Rambo had a dog, his dog would have this vest!

Kenneth Shockley – September 9, 2015:
Just arrived in the mail today. I have been searching for a service dog vest for months and think I finally found one that is relatively inexpensive and will work great from my needs. I like the military style as I am a disable Marine. I have a 95lb large German Shepherd and I purchased the XL because the sizes weren’t clearly marked. I was worried about the length of the straps to go around his belly from looking at the sizes on the other brands. I read all of the reviews on this and saw that people buying the XL had 100lbs dogs, Thus why I chose the largest size available. After I got this in the mail, I found that the straps would fit around my dog twice. They gave plenty of length for a dog twice the size of mine. At this point I wish I had purchased the large and not xl because the length is just a tad too long on his back. It only took me minutes to adjust for the proper fit and we did a nice lap around the yard to see the comfort. He wore it for about 4 hours right out of the box without any signs of discomfort or disliking it. I live in the desert and it can reach temps of 120 in the summer and dont think I have to worry about him wearing this in the summer for long periods of time. it seems to breathe fine. Todays temps were in the high 70’s. From first reviews, it appears it will be a great investment of my $45 and my dog seems pretty happy also. I have added a few photos so you can get a better feel for what it looks like on the dog, the length, and materials.
I have had this vest and used it daily for about 6 months now. I still use this daily and it is my preferred vest of choice for my dog. Only big concern is that the threading on the sides that holds the Velcro and the loops together is coming unraveled. I did hook a small 6 inch bag to the side of the vest and it was ripped off the first time my dog walked too close to the fence. The loop stitching came unraveled and the bag fell off. I have had to fix this by taking super glue on the back side and covering the stitching so the threading doesnt come loose. You cant tell that I modified the vest in any way, but it was still a pain that I needed to do this. Now I have a 3 inch hole in the velcro where the stitching came loose. I will need to go back and put some glue under the velcro to make it stay. If I dont the entire top velcro patch running across the top will eventually fall off. For the money I would buy again, with the understanding that I need to modify it right off the bat to make it more sturdy and last longer. I always figured that the buckles would be the part that fall apart or break first, but it has held wonderfully. I have lifted my dog off the ground many times and held him back from being aggressive without problems. considering the cost of a real vest, I would buy this again and just apply some super glue for $3 to keep the vest in good condition for a few years.

I was in the market for a new service vest for my 70 pound lab mix. I needed something I could use for balance assistance and mobility (which isn’t easy on a budget).
This vest allows me to do that and gives me the options to change my pull strap (pictured with black carabiners and paracord) as needed. I use the vest to help with my balance, walking, and to help pull me up stairs. The rigging (close up pictured) has held up considerably well despite my heavy use.
When not in use, I keep the vest hung by the sewn attached handles or draped over something such as a chair when on trips. I use the top metal attachment for my dog’s seatbelt and it too has shown no wear.
I would buy this vest again and would highly recommend it.
NOTE: all paracord was made or added myself, all patches and attachments were not included

This product is extremely well made and useful! From the moment I got the harness I was excited and impressed with the over all looks, feel, and endurance of it. Even after using it my excitement has not faded, I have used bags made for the webbing that fit pleasingly snug as well as making my own stuff like camera mounts. My one for all, last harness I’ll ever need or recommend kind of harness.

I couldn’t be happier with this. I strapped it to the dog and let him get used to it. It was natural and he adjusted instantly. Then I attached a pouch to each side and loaded it with four pound each and went for a mile jog. He loved it! I was worried the materials would be thin and flimsy. Someone out a lot of thought and care into the design and production. I can tell this is gear we will be able to use hard for a long while.
john laidlaw – September 16, 2015:
bought an xl tan version of this harness and love it! fits my german shepherd perfect and looks amazing! the rear attachment takes the pressure off of the front of the dog so it’s more comfortable and the handles are great to assist the dog over walls ect. i also adapted a mount from a gopro chest harness with some velcro and molle straps and fitted a wifi camera to the velcro on the back and it works great! i like the look of the multicam version too so i might be purchasing this one soon too!

Measuring your dog for a OneTigris Tactical Dog Vest is simple but proper fitment is very important to save time before having to return a vest that’s the wrong size and getting a vest that’s too big or too small. I think the vest, for the money, is the best value available and it’s fit and construction are top notch!
waltS – September 29, 2015:
You cannot beat this tactical harness for the price or build! Excellent quality, easily adjustable and has a just right snug fit! Well made and the price is excellent. I’ve recommended this exact harness and leash set up to several people. Especially if you have a working breed. I got the large for my 65lb boxer, fit great and he’s much more disciplined when wearing it. If I don’t use this vest he’s all pinwheels and shiny things and all over the place. It’s amazing how focused he becomes when wearing this setup!

Looks and works great for my Lab. She’s a strong sucker and this was a great way of not pulling on her neck. She got used to it right away. Was cool to be able to slap some moral patches on the back too. ‘Murica, that’s why.
Turd Ferguson – October 12, 2015:
Dog struts around like the cock of the walk. Husky Shepard mix at roughly 50lbs. Large was almost too big. Great product.
Grant – October 15, 2015:
Absolutely the best vest I’ve owned so far…it’s so durable, does not slide anywhere (once you buckle it to size) does not bother my dog at all. She loves it too! This by far is a da** good investment! Thanks Onetigris!
Chris – October 16, 2015:
Bought for my 5minth old black Shepard fits her perfect with plenty of room for her to grow in to it thank you again
Ashley Marie Bishop – October 19, 2015:
So happy I purchased this for my dog. Rex is a 65lb Australian Cattle Dog and it fits perfect. High quality and I love the morale patch section.
Daniel – November 5, 2015:
Great fit, with good utility to add holsters and other molle devices. I would suggest that the under straps have padding like the collar strap not just for padding but because the straps are smooth and slick and so is the belly of a dog the vest may slide off center. I used a car seat belt strap made of sheep hide on the center vest strap to add comfort but also to prevent the vest from rotating while loaded.
Mitch – December 3, 2015:
For the price it’s worth it, might not match your existing multicam but close enough. Fit seems to be good for my dog and it doesn’t bother him to keep it on.
Gregory Sharpe – December 7, 2015:
I needed a rear handle to hoist my 100# German Shepard up into a truck I occasionally drive. This harness worked great for that, and I also like using the rear leash ring as it let’s the big girl wander around more naturally on the lead. Also, in case of dog altercations, both handles can be used to “helicopter” the dog out of danger. I had to do this once, both dogs immediately stopped fighting, barking and both looked a bit astonished as my dog magically levitated up onto my shoulders. Again, the rear handle is key here for handling physically strong, strong willed or heavy dogs. Word of caution though, too many people assume the wearer of this vest is a working dog, ex-military dog, or a service dog of some sort. This doesn’t sound like much of a problem, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been offered special treatment such as sitting inside a restaurant instead of on the patio, but those privileges MUST BE specifically reserved for those dogs who are actually trained and being utilized in those roles. Also keeps the dog a bit less wet on rainy days.

I had previously bought some other vest for my dog and whilst they were good, something wasn’t quite right. I then found these vests via an on-line search and it looked just the thing I had been hunting down. When it arrived I was very impressed by the quality and feel of the product.
I have a very lively Border Collie who will jump, run, swim and tackle all sorts of terrain and woodland. This harness is perfect and has taken some serious punishment and but apart from gathering the obvious dirt it has remained in one piece with no sign of wear.
My dog is completely dog aggressive and therefore the handles each end are very handy if a dog suddenly appears as I can lift him away from trouble. These are also very useful for getting him over high fences and gates.
I cannot recommend this product enough, it is simply perfect and one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Bought a vest for my German Shepard, tied him to the deck of my house. And he pulled to hard and the strap just ripped off. He’s a puppy..
Steve.R – October 4, 2016:
I Use this item for my German Shepherd Dog. He is what’s known in the UK as a general purpose security dog, his many skills include, obedience, agility, tracking, searching, bite work. I also use the harness when we go hiking.
The quality is fantastic! we have punished this harness for about a year now, in grass, sand, mud, rivers and the ocean. It has never let us down! The handless are strong enough for me to lift him over obstacles or to carry him over my shoulders on the obstacle course. I would recommend this harness to people with small or large dogs. Get it on your dog and get outside and use it!

I bought this harness a couple weeks ago, I went to walk my Cane Corso with it on. I grabbed the front handle, he jumped and pulled once and the handle ripped immediately. That was the first day. I continued to use the harness to tie him out during the day. When I went out to bring him inside a few days ago, he pulled once and the metal clip came shooting off of the harness. This thing has been a total piece of junk and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially with a large breed.

Ernesto Gutierrez – November 3, 2016:
I got the vest a few days ago and it was too big for a medium. My german shepherd mix is 1 yr old and not a big dog so I thought he would grow into it. It looks cool but the strap on his neck is on his back. He has no issue with it and I think he likes it!!!
Daniel Cooper (verified owner) – November 4, 2016:
I bought this harness for my Cane Corso, it broke within two weeks. The front handle ripped the first day, and at day 13 or so the metal clip for the leash was ripped off as well. OneTigris sent me another harness free of charge to try and right the situation, so I will give them credit for that. I recieved the second harness 3 days ago, the handle broke again within the the first 30 seconds of me leading my dog somewhere, and the the front clip broke the same day. Today is day 3 and now the rear clip I was using as a last resort has also broken, rendering the harness completely useless. I would not recommend this to ANYONE. It is an utter and complete waste of $50.
